The Lake City Stick Horse Rodeo is an old Lake City, Colorado tradition. Fun for all ages! Bring your favorite stick horse or pick one out of our stable for a fun morning. We will have all of your favorite categories, such as barrel racing, calf roping, bucking horse, pole bending, English jumping and farrier racing!

The event is FREE and starts with a Grand Entry at 10 am in the Lake City Town Park.

Preregister below, or at the Lake City Chamber of Commerce; or, register the morning of the event from 8 to 9:30 am.

Age Groups are (2-5) (6-8) (9-11) (12-19) (20-50) (51+)

Event Schedule includes:

8 - 9:30 am Registration (if not already registered)

10 am GRAND ENTRY with Sheriff's flags, and Contestants, Star Spangled Banner by Bill Goodwin

10:30 am EVENTS * all events have possible penalties if errors occur

    1.    Bucking Horse - 8 seconds/judged

    2.    Barrel Race - timed

    3.    Pole Bending - timed

    4.    Calf Roping - timed

    5.    Farrier Race - timed

    6.    English Jumping - timed
