Lake City Area Fire Protection

Fire Department

About Us

The fire department is a volunteer-based organization responding to structural fires, vehicle accidents, ice & swift-water rescues, and wildland fire, just to mention a few. The operational part is financed by tax monies but fundraisers are held throughout the year to appreciate the volunteers with t-shirts and other items not covered by the mill levy. Donations are appreciated to support the volunteers. Training meetings are held every Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the fire station. If you would like to join the fire department or need information on how to make a donation please call the fire station at 970-944-2653
